When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I am saved"
I'm whispering "I get lost!"
"That is why I chose this way."

I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need someone to be my guide.

I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
and pray for strength to carry on.

I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
and cannot ever pay the debt.

I'm not claiming to be perfect,
my flaws are too visible
but God believes I'm worth it.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
which is why I seek His name.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority.
I only know I'm loved.

It is so true... So many times I think when people hear me say that I'm a Christian, that it means I am going to judge them, that I'm thinking I'm superior to them. It's so not true! It means I'm unable to live without my God. It means I'm weak and I need His strength. It means I'm flawed and I fail. It means I need to know I'm safe in His arms. It also means I'm capable of SO MUCH love.

So, here are some pictures from the birthday party! Also included are pics from the weekends and such surrounding the party. Happy Birthday to my Joseph (turned 3 on the 25th of June) and my Juliet, who turned 1 today!

I love this picture because when Juliet was that age, it was very rare to have them both look at the camera. She was freshly off of oxygen and a feeding tube. He was enjoying being able to touch and love on his Sissy, and I had just woken up from one of the few nights that I actually got to get a lot of sleep....

In other news, I am going to try to post my pictures from their birthday after I
Clean this (computer) room,
Set up a turtle tank,
Clean the living room,
Laundry....
So who knows when that will be!

What a few weeks!

Wow. We did a lot! We went to Lava, we went to Island Park... We had a lot of fun since I last posted- and most of all we had the kiddo's birthday party!
